On the afternoon of June 10th, local time in India, India’s first ultra-supercritical thermal power plant project undertaken by Shandong Power Construction No. 3 Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Power China, was successfully installed on the K5 plate girder of the No. 1 boiler of India’s Guda project. The hoisting work of the large slab beam of the No. 1 boiler of the Guda project has been completed.
The large slab beam of the No. 1 boiler of the project is composed of K2, K3, K4, and K5 slab beams. Each slab beam is 31.14 meters long and consists of upper and lower stacked beams, with a total weight of 595.456 tons, of which the upper beam of the K4 plate beam has a single weight of 90.3 tons.
Since the first boiler plate beam was hoisted in place, in the face of the new crown pneumonia epidemic and the impact of the national blockade policy in India, the project department has insisted on putting epidemic prevention work first, and using existing resources to actively and orderly promote on-site construction under the premise of ensuring epidemic prevention safety jobs. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the hoisting work of the large slab girder of the No. 1 boiler, the project department comprehensively considered the actual situation of each hoisting, formulated scientific and feasible hoisting plans one by one, carried out detailed safety and technical clarifications for all participating in the field operation, and carefully checked the hoisting work. The status of the equipment, clarify the responsibilities of each commander, so that each hoisting operation can be completed safely, with high quality and efficiently.
The completion of the hoisting of the large slab girder of the No. 1 boiler marked that the project department successfully conquered another major milestone node and verified the ability of the project department to advance on-site construction work in an orderly manner under the overall situation of “prevention of epidemic prevention”. At the same time, it also marked the completion of the main installation of the steel frame of the No. 1 boiler of the project department, laying a solid foundation for the next step of hoisting the heating surface of the boiler.
